A. QuikClot® Combat GauzeTM Sterile, nonwoven Z-folded gauze impregnated with kaolin for temporary external control of bleeding from penetrating trauma. Effective, simple and safe to use on wounds not amenable to tourniquet application. Flexible & pliable, able to contour to all wounds. Individually wrapped in easy-rip, military-grade foil pouch. Does not generate heat. Standard Z-fold version features an embedded x-ray detectable strip.
