    The 2016 NREMT National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model streamlines the recertification process for Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) into three components of continuing education: National (20 hrs.), Local (10 hrs.), and Individual (10 hrs.). Geared toward topics that EMS street providers may face, NAR Training’s In-House 20-hour EMT NCCP National Refresher combines classroom presentation and scenario-based case studies to review and discuss the NCCP National topics. Facilitated by subject matter experts, this refresher focuses on assessment and new evidence-based treatment guidelines in various high-fidelity skill stations and patient assessment environments. This training is CAPCE accredited and meets or exceeds the NREMT’s requirements for Continuing Education.     The NREMT’s EMT Recertification by Traditional Model requires 72 hours of continuing education (CE) broken into two component: a 24 hour Traditional Refresher Course and 48 hours of Additional EMS-Related Continuing Education. NAR Training’s In-House 24 hour NREMT EMT Traditional Refresher Course combines classroom presentation and scenario-based case studies to review and discuss EMS topics. Facilitated by subject matter experts, this refresher focuses on assessment and new evidence-based treatment guidelines in various high-fidelity skill stations and patient assessment environments. This training is CAPCE accredited and meets or exceeds the NREMT’s requirements for EMT recertification.

  9. ITTS/TOMManikin and Training Support Technician

    NAR Training can supply, to the customer location(s), single or multiple TOMManikins to provide the ability to enhance Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) from Point of Injury to transfer of higher care. This all-in-one system allows customers to build multiple PR Scenarios and create realistic Full Mission Profile (FMP) with reactive patients. TOMManikin is a trauma manikin simulator designed for both classroom settings, Trauma Lanes and field training scenarios. Multiple appendages present a variety of wounds including GSW, blast and burns to provide full mission profiles in combat scenarios. Durability and realism make TOMManikin a cost effective, educational trauma training tool capable of surviving the rigors of TCCC, APT and Tactical Medicine. Costs include a daily rate for a primary manikin and a NAR Training technician to operate and ensure all equipment runs smoothly.

  12. Advanced EMT (AEMT) Initial Online Hybrid

    NAR Training’s Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) Online Hybrid Initial Education Course adheres to the US Department of Transportation’s National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards. The AEMT training program is approximately 240 hours in length, with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our Training Centers. Graduates of this program will be able to describe the essential elements for response to the scene of a medical emergency; perform a thorough patient assessment for signs and symptoms of illness/injury; provide prompt and efficient basic and advanced emergency care to the sick and injured. Students will also learn how to transfer the patient to a higher level of care.

  13. National Registry Advanced Psychomotor Skills Exam - Full Exam

    The National Registry Advanced Level Psychomotor Examination is formal verification of psychomotor competency for AEMT and Paramedic candidates before national EMS certification. NAR Training hosts this examination that is administered by a National Registry of EMT’s Exam Representative. Once candidates have their Psychomotor Approval to Test (PATT) letter, they need to contact the NAR Training Reservation Coordinator to schedule their exam.

  15. National Registry Advanced Psychomotor Skills Exam - One Station

    The National Registry Advanced Level Psychomotor Examination is formal verification of psychomotor competency for AEMT and Paramedic candidates before national EMS certification. NAR Training hosts this examination that is administered by a National Registry of EMT’s Exam Representative. Once candidates have their Psychomotor Approval to Test (PATT) letter, they need to contact the NAR Training Reservation Coordinator to schedule their exam.

  16. Basic Life Support - Online Hybrid (Part 2)

    HeartCode® BLS (for Healthcare Professionals) Hands-on In-Person Skills Practice and Testing. HeartCode® BLS (for Healthcare Professionals) is the American Heart Association’s two-part blended learning CPR course. Students purchase a course key from the American Heart Association at https://www.onlineaha.org/courses. After students complete the online eLearning portion of the course, they receive a Certificate of Completion and can contact NAR Training to schedule a Hands-On Skills Session at one of our Training Centers. Students will have the opportunity to practice before the psychomotor skills test, conducted by an authorized AHA instructor.

  17. Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Online Hybrid (Part 2)

    HeartCode® ACLS Hands-on In-Person Skills Practice and Testing. HeartCode® ACLS is the American Heart Association’s two-part blended learning advanced cardiac life support course. Students purchase a course key from the American Heart Association at https://www.onlineaha.org/courses. After students complete the online eLearning portion of the course, they receive a Certificate of Completion and can contact NAR Training to schedule a Hands-On Skills Session at one of our Training Centers. Students will have the opportunity to practice before the psychomotor skills test, conducted by an authorized AHA instructor. This training is CAPCE accredited and meets or exceeds the NREMT’s requirements for Continuing Education.

  18. Initial EMT - Online Hybrid

The EMT training program is approximately 195.5 hours in length, with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our Training Centers. Students will also learn how to handle safely and prepare the patient for transportation and describe the essential elements of safe and orderly transportation of the patient to the hospital and transfer of the patient to a higher level of care.

  19. Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Online Hybrid (Part 2)

  20. Military Medic to EMT (MM2EMT) - Online Hybrid

    NAR Training’s Military Medic to EMT (MM2EMT) Initial Course is designed to streamline the process for currently qualified military medics to become eligible to obtain a state or NREMT Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Overall, the course has the same educational standards and requirements as our EMT course offered to civilians but with a very specific focus on the military healthcare provider/medic. There are many parallels in the knowledge, skills, and abilities found in the military medic clinical career fields when they are compared to the standards required to be eligible for certification as an emergency medical technician. The MM2EMT course is conducted with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our Training Centers.

  21. AEMT NCCP National Component Refresher - In House

  22. Tactical Emergency Casualty Care - Medical Providers

    Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) uses the lessons learned by the military and evidence-based medication to create guidelines for citizens, first responders, firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, and other health care professional to use in the non-military setting. TECC for Medical Providers training includes a review of tactics on how to respond to Active Shooter, CBRNE, and Terrorism events as well as traditional traumatic injuries. Participants receive individual skill training on the proper use of tourniquets, hemostatic agents/gauze, pressure dressing, and chest seals as well as how to interact with Civilian First Care Providers/First Responders/Law Enforcement on the scene. Student’s knowledge and skills are then reinforced using scenario-based simulation where they use their training to save the injured who might die while waiting for the typical 9-1-1 response. This training is ideal for EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics. Skills learned in this training apply not only to intentional injuries, but also to those around the home, at work, and in the community.

  23. Registered Nurse to EMT - Online Hybrid

    NAR Training’s Registered Nurse to EMT (RN2EMT) Initial Course is designed to streamline the process for currently licensed Registered Nurses to become eligible to obtain a state or NREMT Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. Overall, the course has the same educational standards and requirements as our EMT course focused on bridging the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an RN to those of an EMT. The RN2EMT course is conducted with a blend of online didactic education with 24/7 accessibility and fulfillment of laboratory, clinical, and field training requirements at one of our Training Centers. This program enables RNs to achieve their EMT certification simply and concisely.

  24. Advanced EMT (AEMT) Recertification by Traditional Model - In-House 36 Hour Refresher

    The NREMT’s AEMT recertification by Traditional Model requires 72 hours of continuing education (CE) broken into two components, a 36 hour Traditional Refresher Course and 36 hours of Additional EMS-Related Continuing Education. NAR Training’s In-House 36 hour NREMT AEMT Traditional Refresher Course combines classroom presentation and scenario-based case studies to review and discuss EMS topics. Facilitated by subject matter experts, this refresher focuses on assessment and new evidence-based treatment guidelines in various high-fidelity skill stations and patient assessment environments. This training is CAPCE accredited and meets or exceeds the NREMT’s requirements for AEMT recertification.   25. Tactical Emergency Casualty Care - Emergency Responders

    NAR Training’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Initial Education Course adheres to the US Department of Transportation’s National Emergency Medical Service Education Standards. The EMT training program is approximately 195.5 hours in length and held at one of our Training Centers. NAR Training’s In-House PHTLS Provider Course combines classroom presentation and scenario-based case studies to teach and reinforces the critical think skills necessary to increase the survival of critically injured trauma patients. This training is CAPCE accredited and meet or exceed the NREMT’s requirements for Continuing Education.
