USCG Joint First Aid Kit (JFAK)

The Joint First Aid Kit (JFAK) from North American Rescue^® is a low-profile, compact tactical medical kit designed for rapid response to life-threatening injuries. Built to meet the stringent requirements of the United States Coast Guard, this mission-ready IFAK integrates easily into any loadout—stow it inside an aid bag or mount it to body armor, assault vests, or packs using MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing.

Configured to address the leading causes of preventable death in combat, the JFAK includes a C-A-T^® Tourniquet, trauma dressings, Combat Gauze hemostatic, and gauze for massive hemorrhage control; a nasopharyngeal airway for airway management; and the Enhanced ARS for treatment of tension pneumothorax. Additional components—nitrile gloves, eye shield, trauma shears, and a combat casualty card—support efficient casualty care in austere and high-threat environments.
