KOBUS RollUp Litter Vertical Anti-Rotation Stabilizer (VARS)

KOBUS Vertical Anti-Rotation Stabilizer (VARS), when used as instructed the VARS eliminates the need for tag lines when doing 2-man patient/rescuer aeromedical winch evacuations. It is compact, stores in the RollUp carry case, assembles and attaches easily to the 4 pre-positioned Cobra Buckles on the RollUp Litter. The Cobra buckles on the VARS snap into those on the RollUp Litter (prior installation required and remain installed). Control of the litter is attained by moving the VARS in the direction you want the litter to travel thereby preventing spin caused by the downwash from the overhead helicopter blades.
