Headrest Kit  

Today we're gonna take a look at the headrest kit from North American Rescue. This is meant to be a quick access item that's gonna be able to provide immediate care right from the ease of the back of your headrest. Designed to provide convenient access to life-saving medical supplies, it's out of the way until you need it. Before we open this up and get into the contents of the kit, I do wanna show you the unique mounting system that we have. As you can see, the kit is stored in this sleeve that's got these straps here. You'll attach these straps to the back of the headrest, and when you're ready to use the kit, you just grab this handle, pull it right out of the sleeve, and you're ready to go.

What's Inside?

So now that we've got the kit out of the sleeve, let's open it up and take a look what we've got inside. So if we're gonna address life-threatening bleeding, we're obviously gonna reach first for our genuine gen seven CAT tourniquet. We have two of these and these elastic straps right here. Flipping to the other side, we've got two of our four-inch mini responder emergency trauma dressings. Right behind that, we have four sets of our NAR wound packing gauze. If we're in need of CPR, we have our CPR micro shield back in the pocket behind that. Flipping back behind our tourniquets, we have two of our compact Hyfin vent chest seals right in that pocket. Right here we have our triangular bandage, which can be used as a sling if needed. We've got our survival blanket, which can be used to prevent hypothermia due to extreme shock. We've also got some small bandages in this pouch that are just gonna be handy for everyday first aid use. In the middle, we have two sets of our nitrile gloves for your own personal protection.
