Resetting a C-A-T

Resetting a C-A-T

I've been training with my blue C-A-T tourniquet. Time to take it off and reapply. I'm going to show you how to properly reset it. I've still got a bunch of this band that's taken up through here. What I need to do is take the slack out of it. So I want to make sure that the band is routing through here and not folded over.

If it is just, wiggle it back and forth until it pops through. Then I'm going to hold one end at the buckle, and then at the other end, I'm going to grab the Red Tip, and I'm going to pull that nice and tight. Give it a little pop. And what you can see is that inner band has been mostly pulled back. I'm then going to take the red tip, smooth side against it, thread it through the buckle.

And I'll go just about eight inches. Once I have that eight-inch fold over and then I'm, all I'm going to do is fold it in half and I'm reset back to the way it came from the factory and I'm ready to keep training.
